SPECIALITY CAVE DIVER

The purpose of the specialty cave diver program is to provide continuing education and experience for the fully trained cave diver under the supervision of a qualified specialty cave diving instructor. As more scuba divers pursue training and become certified cave divers, the interest and demand for training in specialized/advanced techniques in safe cave diving grows at a steady rate. it is the intent of Yucatech Expeditions training program to meet this challenge by providing an organized format that will professionally and safely guide the interested cave diver in the proper direction using the most current procedures and protocols.
Specialty courses offered:

   Side Mount Diving techniques
   Stage Cave Diving Techniques
   Survey and Cartography Techniques
   Stage Decompression Cave Techniques
   Rescue and Recovery Cave Techniques
   Cave and Cavern Diving Guide qualification program

Prerequisites: Each specialty requires different number of dives and experience. But one in common is that each candidate has to be a certified full cave diver with experience.
